Welcome to Luther Seminary’s Student Handbook.

As the Dean of Students, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your saying ‘yes” to God’s call to theological education. Your presence here enriches our campus and contributes to the dynamic environment that makes Luther so special. At the Seminary, we are committed to your success, both academically and personally. We are also committed to accompanying you on this spiritual journey as you continue to discern God’s call.

Here is our Student Handbook which I hope will serve as a resource to you. Please consult it whenever you need to. It has very helpful information and explains some of our important policies and procedures you may find necessary as you navigate your time at the seminary.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to providing you with the support, resources, and opportunities needed to achieve your goals. Whether it’s through engaging coursework, ministry opportunities, or the co-curricular programs we offer. Please know that you are always thought of and in our prayers.
